Our standard launching and receiving systems are complete packaged solutions. Valves, pipe connections, and transportation equipment are delivered ready for field installation, pre-assembled and tested. This way, you do not have to deal with time-consuming processes such as design work, engineering specifications, obtaining quotes from different suppliers, manufacturing component parts, and assembly.

PETRAC has completed all these tasks for you in advance! Each unit comes mounted on a skid with all outlets properly sized and positioned. All you need to do is prepare the area where the system will be installed, make the connections for the main line and bypass line; then you will have a working system.

Pig Launcher and Receiver Systems

The standard PETRAC pig barrel designs have the capacity to launch one standard cleaning or pushing pig and receive two. The standard designs include all the outlets necessary for the successful launching and receiving of pigs. These outlets consist of a discharge or bypass line at one-third the pipeline size, a measurement flange, a vent flange, and a discharge line. Oversized barrels are sized to provide the space needed for the easy placement of cleaning pigs with cleaning elements that extend beyond the pig cup diameter.
